Casa Calea Haiducilor
A farm stay in the village of Sohodol, at the foot of the Bucegi Mountains. Horses, cart rides, a wood-fired hot tub and real quiet, 4 km from Bran Castle.
Tucked away, close to everything
The house sits at the far end of Sohodol village, at the edge of the forest, with the mountains right outside your balcony. Away from the crowds, yet a few minutes from Bran Castle and the Bucegi trails.
We run our own farm, with horses and a pony called Cezar who is every child's favourite. Spend the day on a horse-drawn cart, in the saddle, on a mountain trail, or simply soaking in the hot tub with the view in front of you.

Via Transilvanica
The Via Transilvanica, the 1,400 km trail that crosses Romania, passes 200 metres from the house. Follow the orange “T”: the Terra Borza Teutonica section, opened in 2025, links Viscri to Brașov through Bran.
Walking, cycling or riding a stage? Stop with us: a room with a bathroom, a kitchen, a hot tub for tired legs and space for bikes. Horses are at home here, we keep our own.

Seven rooms: five doubles and two family rooms on the top floor. Every room has its own bathroom and a balcony overlooking the mountains or the garden.

In the room: TV, bed linen and towels, hairdryer, soundproofing. For guests: a fully equipped kitchen (stove, oven, coffee maker), dining room, living room, WiFi and parking in the yard. Smoking is allowed outdoors only, in designated areas. Check-in from 1 pm, check-out by 12 noon.
A family of skiers
Up here in the mountains, winter means skiing. Dorin was a cross-country skier, and their daughter, Delia Reit, grew up on the slopes above the house. At 22 she made it to the Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, the first Romanian athlete to compete there, and Bran made her an honorary citizen.
Between training camps she comes home to the mountains and the animals. The hills she runs on are the same ones you can hike.
